Welcome to volume 1 number 2 of Journal of Language and Linguistics! The Journal of Language and Linguistics project is progressing rapidly. In this second issue we are pleased to announce the establishment of our advisory board, who are specialists in language and linguistics at universities around the world. Six authors have been published in this second issue of Journal of Language and Linguistics, and their articles represent a wide range of themes in theoretical and applied linguistics, and in language studies. The Journal of Language and Linguistics project continues to seek to allow scholars from around the world to share their ideas. We are always interested in receiving comments about the project, especially from those who wish to become involved.
